Do I need Diablo IV base game to play Lord of Hatred?
Yes. You must have the Diablo® IV base game to experience the Lord of Hatred ™ content. For new players who don’t already have Diablo® IV, you can pre-purchase the Diablo® IV: Age of Hatred Collection which includes the base game and Vessel of Hatred ™ Standard Edition playable immediately, plus Lord of Hatred ™ – Standard Edition which will become available April 28,2026.
Can I purchase more than one pre-purchase edition? Will I get more rewards?
You will need to purchase Lord of Hatred once per platform you want to play on. For example, to play on both Xbox and Battle.net you would need to get Lord of Hatred on each of those platforms separately. You will not get additional rewards for multiple purchases. If you want to upgrade the edition you purchased, upgrades to Deluxe and Ultimate Editions will be available in-game.
How do I equip my instant unlock rewards from pre-purchase?
After purchase, instantly available items will be delivered in-game after next login. Pets can be unlocked in-game then equipped via the Wardrobe, along with the class armor sets. Mounts can be unlocked in-game, then view your mount collection to equip.
What Season is the pre-purchase Premium Battle Pass Bundle for?
This Premium Battle Pass Bundle can be redeemed for any Season, including the current season if you have not already redeemed a Premium or Accelerated Battle Pass.
Will I experience any updates even if I don’t purchase the expansion?
Yes! There will continue to be base game updates that Seasonal and Eternal characters can access outside of the expansion content.
How do I redeem my World of Warcraft Housing Items?
Items will be delivered and instantly available in-game after next login after purchase. World of Warcraft Decor items require World of Warcraft: Midnight and World of Warcraft subscription or game time, each sold separately. Items are expected to be available with the release of the World of Warcraft 11.2.7 content update. Decor items will be available to use during Housing Early Access.
